Conditions of access
Admission requirements:
a) Holders of a bachelor's degree in Psicology and related subjects, or legal equivalent.
b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies in Psychology, organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process, by a State adhering to this process.
c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a degree in Psychology by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education establishment to which they wish to be admitted.
d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum, which is recognized as attesting the ability to carry out this cycle of studies by the scientific council of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Algarve. Holders of a degree in Psychology or legal equivalent.
The recognition referred to in paragraphs b) and d) only has the effect of granting access to the cycle of studies leading to the master's degree and does not confer on the holder the equivalence of the degree to a bachelor's degree or the recognition of that degree.

Criteria for selecting candidates
1. Classification of degree in Psychology or equivalent: up to a maximum of 20 points.
2. Graduates in Psychology from the University of Algarve: 3 additional points.
3. Curriculum Vitae assessment:
• Participation in activities or research projects in psychology: up to 1 value;
• Communications and/or scientific publications in psychology: up to 1 value;
• Participation in scientific meetings or training activities in psychology: up to 1 value;
• Activities or volunteer work within the scope of psychology: up to 1 value.

Those interested should formalise their application using the online form, duly completed and where the documents should be uploaded:
- Certificate of qualifications, with transcripts of subjects (proof of degree), in the case of foreign qualifications you must attach a certificate, duly authenticated by the consulate/embassy.
- Copy of ID card or Passport
- Curriculum Vitae (with personal, academic, and professional data)
- Proof of payment of the application fee (50 euros).
