Conditions of access

a) Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent legal title

b) Holders of a foreign higher education degree awarded after a first cycle of studies in Psychology organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State party to this process

c) Holders of a foreign higher education degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the Bachelor's degree in Psychology by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education institution where they wish to be admitted

The recognition referred to in subparagraphs b) and c) has the effect of only granting access to the master's degree program and
does not confer on its holder equivalence to the Bachelor's degree or recognition of that degree

 

Criteria for selection of the candidates

1) Academic curriculum in the field of Psychology (CA);
2) Scientific curriculum (CC);
3) Professional experience (EP);
4) Applicants who have completed the 1st Cycle of Studies in Psychology / Pre-Bologna Degree at the University of Algarve (PUAlg) will be awarded 2 points, to be added to the final course grade (CFC).

The ranking criteria will be operationalized as follows, to obtain the final ranking grade (NFS):
NFS = (CA x 0.80) + (CC x 0.10) +(EP x 0.10), with CA = CFC + PUAlg

 

Necessary documentation

  • Diploma of qualifications, with a list of courses (proof of degree ownership), in case of foreign qualifications you must attach a certificate, duly authenticated by the consulate/embassy.
  • Copy of ID/CC or Passport
  • Curriculum Vitae (with personal, academic and professional data)
  • Proof of payment of the amount of 50 Euros, corresponding to the application fee
